Mr. Gary Jackson

Dr. Jackson, a national of Jamaica, holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, and MSc in Project Management, both from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. He has undertaken studies in hydroelectric power and power flow modeling for distributed generation under a Fulbright Nexus Scholarship. An Energy Consultant who has been involved in the Caribbean energy sector in varying capacities, Dr. Jackson is the founder and a director of emPowered Caribbean Communities (emPCC) and its research arm, Caribbean Energy Solution Research Institute.

Ms. Cornelia Schenk

Cornelia Schenk holds an MSc in Environmental Technology and International Affairs from the Technical University of Vienna and a Master in Law (International Law and International Relations) from the University of Vienna, Austria. She has worked as a legal specialist and sustainable energy expert, managing technical cooperation projects from both an implementer and a donor perspective in Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean as well as in Central Asia. She has also worked in various roles with the Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centres.

Ms. Karen L. Forte

Karen, a national of Barbados, holds a BA in Economics from York College, New York and a certified administrative professional designation with an organizational management specialty (CAP-OM) from IAAP, Kansas City, Missouri. She has held administrative roles supporting senior management in corporate and non-profit organizations in the U.S. and Barbados. Karen is a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) and the Barbados Association of Office Professionals (BAOP).
