Terms of Reference: Regional Model Guide and National Procedures Documents

The overall objective of this consultancy is to facilitate the seamless execution of compliance programmes in the testing and piloting countries. The compliance programme should consider all activities in the process from port of entry to retail display. This programme will ensure that energy efficient refrigerators, lighting equipment and air conditioners are imported for retail trade in compliance with the recently developed and approved CARICOM energy efficiency standards for these appliances.

Terms of Reference: Impact Study

The overall objective of this consultancy is to conduct an impact study to determine the expected effect of the introduction and implementation of an energy efficiency labelling scheme in the region. This study must inform primarily on the manner in which key sectors and stakeholders, such as retailers, will be affected, the anticipated energy savings and changes in greenhouse gas emissions in the piloting and testing member states of Saint Lucia, Belize, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica.

Terms of Reference: Development of Regional Database

The overall objective of this consultancy is to design and to develop a database for storing and making available relevant information on electrical appliances (refrigerators, air conditioners and lighting) which have been tested. The database is intended to serve as effective and efficient information system for stakeholders in the CARICOM involved in the energy efficiency labelling program and the Dominican Republic.

The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) has received financing from the Green Climate Fund toward the cost of the Water Sector Resilience Nexus for Sustainability in Barbados (WSRN S-Barbados) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contracts for the Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of 4.5 MW Solar PV and 2.0 MW MicroTurbine and other Components for specified Barbados Water Authority Pumping Stations.
