Across CCREEE’s strategic programmes, knowledge and awareness building is integral to the adoption of new and existing technologies; progressing from increased knowledge among CARICOM Member States and their citizens to sustained behavioural change.
The Communications Unit therefore plays a key role in supporting the establishment and promotion of the CARICOM Energy Knowledge Hub (CEKH); CCREEE’s Project Preparation Facility (PPF); the Energy Access Programme; the Climate Resilience Programme; the Sustainable Industry and Business Programme and the Sustainable Transport Programme. The Unit also takes lead on areas of visibility including: event management and promotion, digital media management, evidence-based campaign research, conception and implementation and, community outreach, among other tasks.
