The second CARICOM Women in Sustainable Energy (W.I.S.E.) feature highlights women involved in the Sustainable Energy Sector in the Caribbean Community.
This initiative profiles and celebrates women who demonstrate dedication, innovation, creativity, and commitment to the community, by taking action on the energy transition at the local, national, regional, or international levels, in public, private, and civil society sectors.
As part of CARICOM Energy Month (CEM) 2023, citizens/residents will be invited to apply or nominate a peer, mentor, or mentee, to share the story of inspiring women that have had a meaningful impact on energy and climate resilience.
Applications shall be submitted via the application portal by November 30th at midnight AST. After nominations close, a panel of judges will vet and shortlist the honourees. Honourees will be announced during the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) April 2024.
